about
I wrote this song so long ago I can't remember when I wrote it, but it's sharing a sentiment that I still feel today.. the search for and attainment of wisdom. It's about waking up to chronic underestimating of yourself and the struggle to return to a healthy and empowered mindset.
lyrics
Letting Go of the Old, to make way for the new
I've known myself for centuries, but known not what to do
With all this knowledge, All this light
all this Glory, All this fabulous insight
Clouds of judgement, torture and pain
Drift o're my eyes and threaten to rain
Something bad is coming just over that hill
I've felt this way forever and it's making me ill
Need more knowledge, Need more light
I see your Glory, won't you help me make it through this night
But I'd rather hide behind someone else's decisions
Or in my own bed with this passive derision
But that's the old me that I'll no longer feed
She's starving to death while my true self takes the lead
With all this knowledge, All this light
all this Glory, All this fabulous insight
With all this knowledge, All this light
all this Glory, All this fabulous insight

Love Me, Remind me, of what I already know

Love Me, Remind me, of what I already know
